About the WiggleLess Company
WiggleLess was founded by Lisa Luckenbach in 2011. Lisa had two dachshunds, Henry and June, diagnosed with intervertebral disc disease (IVDD).
June was the first one diagnosed with IVDD at just two years old. Lisa wanted to design a brace that could help alleviate June’s pain while living with IVDD so young. Lisa remembered that she had to wear a back brace when dealing with an injury in her own personal life, but since there wasn’t anything available on the market to help June, she decided that she would create her own.
A few years later, Henry was diagnosed with IVDD at four years old. Henry was stockier and had a shorter back than June, so she needed to redesign the brace so that it would fit him properly. The new brace design helped Henry live a life without having to continually revisit the veterinarian, and that’s what Lisa wants for every dog.
